Sass is a reflection of Attitude, Talent, Spice, Passion, Integrity, and most of all Determination. Those who know her would say “she was always before her time.” She sang her first notes at the tender age of 2 years old and hasn’t stop singing since. Sass grew up watching her Mother, National Recording Artist, Singer/Writer/Actress, “Teri S”, perform all over the Washington, D.C. area and abroad.

Stephanie A. Swinton, “Sass”, has built a very reputable, (almost 20 year) career, with the help of her Mother and mentor “Teri S”.  Sass’s career began as a singer and has slowly migrated in the industry as an entertainment mogul. Her love for music, television and film has afforded her the opportunity to build relationships and business ventures with Industry Veterans like; Ramon Hervey, (who assisted in launching the professional career of  the “First Black Miss America” entertainer “Vanessa Williams”); Brian Edwards, (Client Relations Representative,  Multi- Award Winning and Best-Selling Author); and the legendary Music Mogul, “Mathew Knowles”.​ Sass has also built many relationships with reputable film producers, productions companies, television networks and executives in Hollywood, which has afforded Divas D.C. Productions, LLC (DDCP) an outlet and opportunity to collaborate with some of the best in the business. 

Her years of experience have enabled her to hold a position as Co-partner and Vice President of Operations for DDCP. In addition to holding the Executive position, she also spearheads many of the company's original productions and partnerships. Sass has a gift of implementing great and lasting relationships with many people and companies in all genres of entertainment, which is why DIVAS D.C. Productions, LLC is so well known within the Industry. 

In 2013, Sass assisted Teri S (Creator and Executive Producer), with developing a brand-new television series entitled, “DIVAS D.C. “The Cream of the Crop (Hidden Treasures)”.  She serves as the Producer of the show, which is set to launch spring 2019. The Duo also followed up in 2016 with another show, “Lefty’s the Family Empire”, which is also set to premiere soon.   Currently Sass and her Business Partner Teri S have joined forces with Actor/Producer “Brian White (Ray Donovan, Tyler Perry’s, I Can do bad all by myself) and WGA Writer, Allen Sowelle, to producer three major Films Movies, that are set to debut nationally in 2019 and 2020.

Sass creates and produces groundbreaking projects for television, film, music, and digital media, serving as the Executive Vice President for DIVAS D.C. Productions, LLC.  We work with Networks Under Viacom, Discovery AE, NBCUniversal and digital platforms.  We develop content (Scripted and Unscripted) for all genres of entertainment.  I look forward to connecting with you all and working to create amazing stories.
